This latest volume in the Photofile series assembles the experimental, unforgettable moments captured by Richard Kalvar in one accessible volume.
Kalvar’s photographic style is distinctive for its strong uniformity of aesthetic and theme. His images frequently play on a discrepancy between the banality of a real situation and a feeling of strangeness that emerges from a particular choice of timing and framing. Kalvar is one of the contemporary masters of street photography, and also a member of Magnum Photos.
